Terms & Conditions of Trading

By applying for an Account and placing subsequent orders you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by our Terms and Conditions of Trading. They form a legal agreement between you and us and can only be amended with our consent. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice, provided that any such change will not affect any purchases you have made before the change is implemented. Your continued use of our services shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions of Trading. All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances. We may also close your account for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when we dispatch the products ordered to you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Account Application

An Account Application form must be completed and approved before being permitted to place an order. An Account Application form is available to download from our website www.bluelightdirect.co.uk or by contacting our Sales Department on 01293 402 025.

Placing an Order

An Official Purchase Order must be received for all orders. Your order can be placed via Post, Fax, email or via our online ordering facility. Access to our online order service will require user registration and password. Upon successful completion of our application process we will supply you with a user password in order to access our online order facilities.


We are committed to bringing you the best products at the best value and constantly monitor our prices which are subject to change without notice. The Trade Price advertised on our website excludes VAT and delivery charges.


We are pleased to open credit accounts providing satisfactory references are received. Please note that our payment terms are strictly 30 days from date of invoice. Payment can be made by one of the following methods. Cheque - Made Payable to Bluelight Direct Limited. BACS/Wire Transfer - Pay directly into our account using our banking details, please ensure that remittance is sent confirming payment in order that we can apply payment to your account. Product Information

We have taken reasonable steps to display as accurately as possible the colours and other detailing of our products. Any information regarding sizing of products is included as a guide only.

Back Orders

If when you place your order any item is unavailable we will back order for you to ship as soon as the stock is available. Back Orders will always be dispatched without additional courier charges. If you wish to cancel your back orders at any time prior to dispatch please let us know.

Carriage & Handling

We use Couriers for all our delivery services. Niton will not be responsible for extra delivery charges resulting from non-deliveries, if the courier is unable to complete your delivery and goods are returned to Niton all charges will charged to your account. Delivery Errors

Please advise us in writing within 48 hours of receipt of any delivery errors. Late Claims will not be accepted.

Faulty or Damaged Products

Please report Faulty or Damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt by contacting our Sales Department for further instructions. Please retain all shipping packaging as this may be required in a claim against our couriers. Late claims will not be accepted.

Product Warranty

We will warranty any product which develops a fault within a period of 6 months from date of delivery, and within 6 months of date of re-sale. For warranty claims for re-sale items the customers proof of purchase must be returned with the item in question together with an explanation of the fault. Other than due to normal wear and tear, failure to follow instructions or misuse Bluelight Direct will replace the product with the same, or a similar product (subject to stock availability). We reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund/replacement product and to recover the cost of the return delivery from you in the event that the product is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear.

We will not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations is prevented or restricted by any circumstance or cause beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for the use you make of the products you order. To the extent not prohibited by law, we accept no liability for any loss which is not reasonably foreseeable or for any business loss (which includes loss of profits, contracts, goodwill, opportunity and other similar losses). We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and responsibility for fraudulent misrepresentation and any other liability that cannot, under English law, be excluded.

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Terms and Conditions shall be unaffected and shall remain in force. No term of any contract subject to these Terms and Conditions shall be enforceable by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any person not a party to such contract. You and we agree that English law applies to these Terms and Conditions and that any dispute between us arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions will only be dealt with by the English courts, unless you are resident in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there. We are required by law to inform you that purchases can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
